Bulgarian Resort To Reopen

Good news if you were thinking of getting a ski job in Bulgaria this winter, the resort of Vitosha should be open again this season.

The resort, close to Sofia, is one of the largest in country but was closed last season due to environmental concerns. The company operating the resort have since carried out maintenance work and have met with government ministers to agree a long-term development plan.

 

Club Med Plans North American Expansion

Club Med are currently looking for ski resorts in Canada and the United States. to expand into.

The company has already been in talks with the owners of Le Maddif in Charlevoix, about taking over the running of the resort and offering 'all inclusive' holidays there. They're also looking at resorts Utah, the Rockies, Colorado, Ontario and Lake Tahoe.

This expansion is good news for anyone looking for a winter season job in Canada or the US.

 

Look Out For Snow Art On The Slopes

If you're working in Les Arcs this Winter, keep an eye out for some of the artwork of Simon Beck.

Simon stomps around on the slopes for up to ten hours at a time in snowshoes creating some amazing geometric paterns over an area the equivalent of six football pitches.
