Are you looking for a ski job that will give you some of the best off piste to explore? Then working a winter season in Val Cenis is perfect for you.
Val Cenis is made of 2 villages, Lanslevillard and Lanslebourg. The villages and ski areas are easily accessible via a free shuttle service, which means on your afternoons and days off there's plenty explore. Boarders will be pleased to hear there are two terrain parks, complete with half pipes, boardercross, jumps and rails.
The downside about working a season here is that it does not have a huge après ski scene. The nightlife is best described as 'restrained', so depending on your preference, this is either a good thing or bad thing - put simply, party animals need not apply. There are however a number of good bars and restuarants worth checking out.
